Returns Policy & Warranty

Faulty Products – Replacement or Refund

The Cartridge Warehouse will, at our discretion, replace or refund faulty products returned to us within:

90 days for Genuine cartridges
12 months for Non-Genuine (Compatible & Re-manufactured) cartridges

Subject to the following conditions:

The cartridge has not been refilled, modified, or tampered with
The product is returned for inspection and/or testing
You must request a Return Authorisation (RA) by email before returning the item
A copy of the RA email must accompany the return
A sample of faulty print output must be included
The faulty cartridge must be returned via Registered Post

Please pack the cartridge in an outer box or padded envelope so the original packaging is not damaged by courier labels or stickers.

Important – Replacement Process

We do not dispatch replacement cartridges until either the faulty cartridge or the batch number has been received and verified.
This is standard retail practice and is compliant with Australian Consumer Law.

Original shipping charges are not refundable.
Customers are responsible for return postage.
We cover shipping costs for replacement items.

Wrong Product Ordered

If an incorrect product has been ordered, The Cartridge Warehouse may, at its discretion, accept a return for credit only (no refunds), subject to:

A Return Authorisation (RA) being obtained prior to return
The product being returned within 7 days of receipt
The product being unopened, unused, and in resalable condition
The product being a normally stocked item
The product being returned via Registered Post

A 10% restocking fee applies.
Original shipping charges are not refundable.

Unused Cartridges Due to Printer Failure

If your printer fails and you are left with unused cartridges, we may consider accepting a return provided:

The cartridges are no more than 6 months old
They are sealed and 100% resalable

Restocking fees:

10% if you purchase a new printer from us
25% if you do not purchase a replacement printer from us

Product Warranty

Genuine Printer Consumables

All genuine cartridges are covered by a replacement or refund warranty against defects in materials or workmanship when returned within 90 days of the invoice date (or as stated in the product description).

Returned products may be tested or forwarded to the original manufacturer for assessment.
This process may take time depending on manufacturer requirements.

Proof of purchase is required.

Non-Genuine Printer Consumables

(Compatible & Re-manufactured)

Non-genuine consumables are covered by a 12-month warranty against defects in materials or workmanship.

Additionally, they are guaranteed against poor print quality for 30 days from receipt, provided a test print is supplied.

Returned items may be tested or referred to the manufacturer for verification.

Other Products

All other products (including printers, hardware, and electronic components) are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty as stated in the product description.

Equipment Damage Warranty

The Cartridge Warehouse warrants that it will meet reasonable repair costs for damage to printing equipment directly caused by a defective cartridge, provided that:

We are notified in writing within 14 days of the damage occurring
A signed statement from a qualified service technician is supplied, confirming:
- The defect in the cartridge
- The damage caused
- That the cartridge defect directly caused the damage
- A repair quotation
Manufacturer confirmation is supplied if requested
Additional documentation is provided if required (e.g. service history, machine age)

We may repair the equipment or pay the repair cost at our discretion and may use refurbished parts if required.

This represents the full extent of our liability under this warranty.
