Epson WF100 vs. Canon IP100 Review
This new printer by Epson printer is the Canon Pixma IP100 killer and to a lesser extent the new printer by Canon the Canon iP110. It weighs 20% less is smaller and can be connected via wireless and wireless supported applications. It’s also the only portable printer to have a LCD screen and pigment ink for all colours, for durable, fast-drying, and smudge-free printouts.
This new portable A4 inkjet printer by EPSON is the smallest and lightest in the world.
Above left: The Epson WorkForce WF-100W is designed for mobile workers printing documents such as invoices and designs etc. while on the go. On the right is the Canon IP100 which is a great printer but can't match the size or features of the new Epson Workforce portable printer.
- The Workforce 100 uses pigmented ink with faster drying smudge resistance.
- The internal Li-Ion battery is rechargeable via the USB or by using a power adapter.
- There is also an LCD display and Wi-Fi drect wireless printing that will work with AirPrint etc.
- With a size of only 309 x 154 x 61 mm the WF-100W small enough to take on the road.
- The weight is only 1.6 kg.
Using two ink cartridges with a paper tray can hold approximately 50 pages it's set up for business use.
Epson WorkForce WF-100W can be connected directly Wi-Fi or as a networked printer.
Printing can also be done via the free Epson app that offers Apple AirPrint and Google Cloud Print.
